The company was established in April 2011, and Marine Sea Services Ltd was registered under the UK. In July 2025, Marine Sea Services (Gibraltar registered) was set up and all assets, licences and accounts were smoothly transitioned over to this company, the UK entity then ceased trading. Having the company registered in Gibraltar has great advantages for servicing all of our clients, including those who are international.
Our principal surveyor is Dale Bradley who has over 35 years of experience within the Maritime Industry. Dale is an active competent Commercial Master, Vessel & Marine Warranty Surveyor with vast experience in all aspects of operations at sea. His appointments have led him to front line marine operations, starting his maritime career in the British Royal Navy, then serving in the Merchant Navy on oil survey vessels. Dale has previously been a freelance Master subcontracting to large civil marine shipping companies. Working Tugs, Multicats and Fast Crew Transfer Vessels with a variety of propulsion systems.
As a company we fully understand both the importance of safety and the realistic vessel structural limitations, when putting any vessel to its designed use. All surveys undertaken are thorough, informative, and based wherever possible on fact, not opinion.
We are approved MCA coding surveyors for Mecal, SCMS, Thames Freight Standard and IMCA eCMIDS MISW inspections.
We will travel pretty much anywhere in the world and have a very flexible approach, due to the last-minute nature of the maritime sector.
